Radiant Roses

I usually wouldn't post the same brand two weeks in a row, but circumstances and personal goals (actually USING my polishes lol) have brought me to do so today. I hope you don't mind :)

Today I have for you one of my until recently untrieds.  I had seen swatches of course, but in person, on my nails, it was even more beautiful!  This is Enchanted Polish Purple Roses:

Mint to Be

This weekend I'm showcasing one of my most favorite polishes. A polish so precious that I had it for months before I even dared to open it!  A major lemming crushed, I stared at the bottle, admiring its beauty as I turned it over in my hands.

Finally I confessed in a Facebook group that I'd never even used this gorgeous polish because of its rarity.  I admittedly have A LOT of untried polishes, as I am sure everyone does.  Well, I finally opened the bottle and used this magnificent polish.  It did not disappoint, in fact it far exceeded my expectations, looking even more lovely on my nails than in the bottle.

Here for you I have Enchanted Polish July 2013

This polish is VHTF.  But soooo worth it if you have the chance.  Don't be like me and just let it sit on your shelf for months on end.  Use this beauty! You won't regret it!

Mashup Masterpiece

I've got an out of the box mani for you today!  Sometimes I get strange ideas in my head about colors and shapes, and then I do some unusual nail art.  This is an all indie masterpiece created using imagination and Nail Vinyls.

I had this gorgeous blue Squarehue Polish, Ka'ahumanu that I thought would pair nicely with Sabotage by Emily de Molly.  And of course that was not enough, so I added some Nail Vinyls and Glow for the Gold by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer.

And here's my mashup masterpiece for your viewing pleasure!

Squarehue is a subscription box which donates a portion of proceeds to charity, you can sign up here

Emily de Molly is an Australian indie available on their site as well as international stockists Llarowe and Mei Mei's Signatures

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer is available here

Nail Vinyls can be purchased here

Tiptoe Through The Tulips

TGIF!! For some reason this week went by so fast yet so slow!  It's finally chilly out, summer is definitely over.  But, we can still enjoy tulips.... on our fingers!

Today I have an awesome blurple polish for you from Different Dimension.  This is Tulips Are Better Than One.  This was one of the first polishes I got from Different Dimension, and it's a stunner!  Such a perfect blue/purple, I stared at my nails constantly while wearing this polish.  I also got soooo many compliments, more than I usually get for my nails.  People kept grabbing my hand to look at the color.

For the accent nail, I wasn't sure what would be the best pairing for this beauty, so I went with the everything but the kitchen sink glitter bomb from Liquid Sky Lacquer No One Alive is Youer Than You, which was part of a Dr Suess Duo with Freak Show Polish.  It's full of so many different shapes, colors, and sizes of glitter.  I'm a glitter freak, so it was hard to restrain myself and just do an accent nail.

I tried to capture the color shift and resulting colors as accurately as I could, but it's hard to photograph the full beauty.  This polish is even more amazing in person!

Different Dimension can be purchased on their new site

Liquid Sky Lacquer will reopen and have new Christmas colors on November 15th

Smitten With This Polish

Wow, it's November already! Where has the time gone??  Today I have a mani featuring two wonderful indie brands!

The first polish is a new to me indie, Smitten Polish.  I love this brand, the polishes are gorgeous and the formula is fantastic.  I definitely want to get more Smitten Polishes ASAP - the name is accurate, I'm in love with their polishes!

This polish is called Out of the Darkness and is a special charity polish for suicide prevention.  It is chock full of gorgeous microglitters, and is such a gorgeous shade of purple.  Here it is on its own:

I love this polish by itself, but I wanted to do something more, especially pertaining to the name and reason for the polish.  So I played around with some nail guides and added Mod Lacquer's Men in Black, a stunning dark grey holo.  I really wanted the Smitten Polish to shine through the darkness, and it did beautifully!

Smitten Polish is available here and Out of the Darkness was recently restocked.  $6 from every bottle is being donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Mod Lacquer is available here and is currently having a moving sale!
